There has been a considerable increase in the number of students demonstrating career interest in agriculture in the recent years. With several agricultural companies, organizations and colleges offering easy scholarships, this interest has been increased many folds.

  1. US Department of Agriculture, National Scholars Program : Students attending one of the 1890 Historically Black Land-Grant Institutions, can benefit under this scholarship program, offering nearly 35 scholarships every year. The scholarship covers for most of your college needs including, tuition, books, housing, food, etc. Also, the successful candidates are entitled to work for the US Department of Agriculture with all the employee benefits.

  1. NCGA and BASF Scholarship : The first and foremost requirement for this scholarship is that, the parents of the applicants must be NCGA members and the applicants themselves must be entering at least their second undergraduate year. This scholarship is administered by the National Corn Growers Association to only about five students for an amount of $1,000.

  1. National Holstein Women's Scholarship Foundation : This is essentially a scholarship facility for the female students pursuing dairy-related fields of research. Administered by the National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) Board of Directors, this scholarship caters to several deservingly qualified students.

  1. Wetchester Foundation Scholarship : This scholarship is basically an effort made by the Wetchester Foundation, to drive more students into contributing towards the nation's agribusiness through their education. This scholarship provides financial aids to students either already enrolled at an accredited college or planning to enroll, in a course related to agriculture or agribusiness.

  1. Foremost Farms USA Scholarship : This scholarship facility is only for the Foremost Farms member-owners and their children. Catering to nearly eleven students, this scholarship for an amount of $2,000, is for the students interested in pursuing a career in agriculture.
