Dale E. Fridell Memorial Scholarship was created in the memory of Dale E. Fridell grandfather of Josh Barsch, the CEO of Straightforward Media. Dale E. Fridell was a person who never said no, when it came to help someone throughout his life. The scholarship is a form of legacy which his children and grandchildren want to continue by his name.
Applicants must be currently attending a university, college, trade school, technical institute, vocational training or other post secondary education which makes them eligible to apply or this scholarship for 2009-2010 academic. The scholarship amount is $ 10,000 each and is awarded four times annually. The scholarship is granted after every three months.
You need to submit an essay mentioning in not more than 1,000 words as to why you deserve this award, through e-mail only. The essay along with the completely filled application must reach the concerned authority no later than April 14, 2010. Those who are already receiving a full-time scholarship or waiver from another source are requested not to apply. The winners will receive the award in their hand; the school has no role to manage the funds for you. You can use the funds not only for tuition but for books and living expenses.
