The American Australian Association awards fellowship for the Australian students for their advance study in United States. There are around 9 fields for which the fellowships are allocated. Chevron Scholarship is for those who wish to conduct research in Geosciences that too at the top US educational or research institution.

Those interested in applying for this scholarship must be citizen of Australia or permanent citizen. The fellowship can be utilized for study and research in the field of Geosciences including geology, geophysics and reservoir engineering.
