The Verizon Foundation believes, money should not be a hindrance for those talented and truly deserving students who have the caliber to fulfill their dreams. For the 2010 academic year Verizon Fund has come up with Verizon Scholarship Program for the students of Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science and Computer Engineering. Candidates must have US citizen of Hispanic Background and a minimum GPA of 3.0 for applying. For getting the benefits of this scholarship the candidate must submit all the necessary document along with the application by February 16, 2010. The recipient will get $ 5000 scholarship which will be awarded to those graduate and undergraduate who demonstrate financial need. The Ford Motor Company has come up with funds in the scholarships for deserving students in STEM & Business Majors. Those who have participated in Ford PAS Program are also eligible to apply for this scholarship. Ford Blue Oval Scholarship is only meant for US citizens with Hispanic background with a minimum GPA of 3.0. The recipient will receive $ 2,000 scholarship to pay for their education expenses. The AT & T Foundation in association with UNCF has announced a new scholarship program for African-American children or step children of regular full-time employees of AT & T, Inc and its US subsidiaries. All coming in the above category and are high school seniors or graduates who want to enroll for further studies can apply for the application. Also those college undergraduate and are already enrolled with full time undergraduate course of study in an accredited 2 or 4 years US College or University in the fall of 2010. Scholarship amount for two year’s college is $ 1,500 and for four year’s $ 2,500.
