American Woman’s Society Of Certified Public Accountants has come up with National scholarship for those who want to aspire as Certified Public Accountant. Sponsored by Becker Professional Education the National Scholarships recipient will receive complete Becker CPA Review course worth $ 2,995. Also they will co-ordinate the review course directly with the scholarship winner. National Scholarship expects the candidates to fulfill the following requirements: A Us Citizen or a permanent resident of United States Of America Must have 3.0 GPA in accounting and a 3.0 GPA overall. Transcript validated from their college Must either be an entering senior, 5th year student, graduate student or a graduate and eligible to take a review course within one year of scholarship awarding. The candidate must fulfill the minimum education requirement to appear for CPA examination within one year of scholarship awarded. Need to submit a written essay of not more than 1,000 words stating the reasons for which they deserve this scholarship. The California-Hawaii Elks Major Project Inc. board of trustees have made up their mind to give away more than $ 40,000 for academic year 2010-2011 in the form of scholarship for students with disabilities. It’s an undergraduate educational scholarship which will give four year’s assistance to the recipient of the scholarship. The scholarship amount is $ 1,000 to $ 2,000 each and which will be given to 20 to 30 students. It’s a need based scholarship and the funds are intended to be used to cover the academic expenses, tuition, books, lab fees and on-campus room and board. Candidates with physical impairment, visual impairment, neurological impairment, hearing impairment or speech-language disorder. This scholarship is a financial needs-based and academic use scholarship intended for undergraduate work at a licensed vocational school, accredited community college or four-year college. The funds are to cover academic expenses: tuition, books, lab fees and on-campus room and board. National Society Daughters Of American Revolution The National Society Daughters Of American Revolution is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women service organization who works create better society in all respect. Apart from the care and support they give to veteran patients, they support and promote deserving students through their various scholarships, financial aids and annual donations. The DAR Scholarship Committee awards scholarship in diverse disciplines like history, law nursing and education. Most of them are multi-year scholarship renewable for four years. The following nursing scholarship is one time awards of $ 1000 which require just one application properly filled. Caroline E. Holt Nursing Scholarship: those who are currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing and are in financial need can apply for this scholarship.
