The American Fire Sprinklers Association is a non-profit international association which apart from its designated work is also involved in supporting its members on educational front. Through its $ 5,000 High School Senior Scholarship Contest American Fire Sprinklers will help students with High School Diploma, GED or equivalent to pursue their education. Eligibility requirement: Contest open to U.S Citizens or legal residents Must have High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Scholarship will be given to those winners who are enrolled in accredited college/university or certified trade school, Winner must enroll by spring 2011 semester Must not be a relative AFSA staff or board members The eligible applicant must read the “Fire Sprinkler Essay and take a ten-question multiple choice test. Being an open-book contest you can keep the print of the essay in front of you to answer the questions. The winner of the contest will receive $ 1,000 scholarship. Of all the participants 5 would be chosen for the $ 5000 scholarship contest. The contestants will not be judged through their financial need.

Eligibility Requirement Must be U.S Citizen or permanent resident of U.S Scholarship will be given to those winners who are enrolled in accredited college/university or certified trade school Must not be a relative AFSA staff or board members Home-schooled students can apply only if the course they are undertaking is equivalent to that of a senior in high school. To win this scholarship one needs to read an essay on Fire Sprinkler and go through a test online. Those who clear the test will be notified and would win $ 2000 scholarship. Of all the participants 10 would be chosen for the high school seniors scholarship contest. The contestants will not be judged through their financial need.
