The  American Council For Blind is a leading membership organization of blind and visually impaired people and work for the all round development of the people similar to them.

The organization provides twenty scholarships annually to blind and visually impaired students involved in vocational course, undergraduate, graduate, college students or freshmen.

The scholarship money ranges from $ 1,000 to $ 2, 500 and will be given to those who has maintained a 3.3 Grade Point Average. The Application form must be complete and must include:

  • Autobiographical Sketch
  • Certification Of Legal Blindness from an ophthalmologist, optometrist or physician
  • Official transcripts
  • Two letters of recommendation

The complete application packet must be postmarked no later than March 15, 2010 to
