Aviation Scholarship
The Alan H Conklin Business Aviation Management Scholarship is one of the several scholarships granted every year by National Business Association a well known organization and has been a reliable source which has helped many companies for their successful growth in aviation industry. The scholarship was established by Conklin & de Decker in co-ordination with NBAA for undergraduates pursuing their careers in business aviation management. The scholarship is named after Al Conklin a U.S Air Force veteran and business aviation leader for more than 60 years. The 2010 NBAA & Conklin & de Decker will award a student $ 5,000 who fulfills all the eligibility criteria and is enrolled in an aviation management program at a University Aviation Association (UAA) member school. The scholarship is named after Janice Barden to honor her for her active participation in aviation community for decades. She also served as chair of the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention Local Committee. The UAA Janice K Barden Aviation Scholarship is meant for the citizens who fulfill the eligibility criteria. The scholarship is for all US citizens irrespective of their sex, race, religion or national origin. The UAA Janice K Barden Aviation Scholarship is one of the several scholarships offered by NBAA to promote professional development and business aviation careers. The NBAA awards William M Fanning Maintenance Scholarship annually to those who are pursuing their careers as maintenance technicians. The awards are given by NBAA to honor William M Fanning who devoted 20 long years to the association. Two awards of $ 2,500 each will be given to two applicants, who are currently pursuing their career as maintenance technicians. Eligibility Requirement: Applicant must be U.S Citizen Must be officially enrolled in an accredited A & P Program or have been accepted for enrollment by an approved FAR Part 147 school.
