The Association on American Indian Affairs has come up with Florence Young Memorial Scholarship for students who are pursuing their Master’s Degree in art, public health or law. The scholarship amount is $ 1,500. The amount will be disbursed in fall and spring. The $ 750 will be disbursed directly to the college for fall semester. But for spring the pending disbursement will depend on your fall semester progress.
You will need to submit a copy of fall semester grades and spring semester class schedule to get the remaining amount.
Eligibility:
- Must be Native American/ Alaska Native from the Continental US or Alaska
- Applicant must be enrolled in an any federally recognized or non-recognized tribe
- Must be of ¼ Indian Blood
- Currently pursuing master’s degree in art, law & public health from an accredited college or university

- Certificate of Indian Blood showing atleast ¼ Indian Blood
- Proof Of Tribal enrollment
- One to three page essay mentioning your educational and post graduate goals as well as life experiences
- Two letters of recommendation (employers, professors, ministers,teachers, coaches etc)
- Copies of official transcript
