Hemophilia Federation of America works for the betterment of people with bleeding disorders. The Foundation is based in Washington DC and works with other national and state organizations to build a very strong and conducive environment for their all round development.
The Hemophilia Federation of America Educational Scholarship is one such effort to support the students with bleeding disorders financially. Every year HFA awards ten scholarships of 1,500 each. There are four scholarships and the candidate can apply for one.
Educational Scholarship:
- Have bleeding disorder.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university,or trade school.
- Show commitment towards their goals.
Sibling Continuing Educational Scholarship:
- Sibling of a person with bleeding disorder
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university,or trade school
- Show commitment towards their goals
Parent continuing Educational Scholarship
- Be a parent of child with bleeding disorder
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university,or trade school
- Show commitment towards their goals
Artistic Encouragement Grant
- Have a bleeding disorder
- Show commitment towards their goals
