The Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished American Inc. with the help of various foundations and charitable trusts provides scholarship in most states of USA.

Horatio Alger Montana Scholarship Program with the generous help of Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation has come up with funds to help students pursuing a bachelor’s degree at The University of Montana, The University of Montana-Western, The University of Montana-Missoula College of Technology, Helena College of Technology of The University of Montana, or Montana Tech of The University of Montana.

Eligibility:

  • Resident of Montana
  • Citizen of United States
  • Currently enrolled as a full time high school senior Montana and are  planning to enter college in coming fall
  • Good academic performance (minimum grade point average of 2.0)
  • Active participants in co-curricular and community activities
  • Critical financial need
