Joe Francis was a well known name in the field of cosmetology with around 1,000hair saloons through out United States. It was Joe Francis’s dream to provide careers options to those individulas who desire to be in cosmetology industry.

The foundation is trying to fulfill his dreams by giving financial assistance to deserving  students required to attend certified barber or cosmetology school. Candidates who are enrolled or currently applying for full time or part time technical institution (cosmetology or barber school) are eligible for this annual scholarship. Also graduates between January 1,2010 to August 31, 2010 of the current award year can also apply for the scholarship.

Of all nineteen applicants will be chosen for the award of $ 1000 each which will be awarded in two installments. You can refer to http://www.joefrancis.com/apply.html or application. Application packet must include:

One page essay on the following topics

  • Your Financial need
  • Your ambitions, interest and brief family history
  • Why do you want to be cosmetologist
