National Council For Jewish Women: Women Helping Women Scholarships
National Council for Jewish Women since its inception have worked selflessly for the betterment of women as far and their education is concerned. Till date it has provided more than $190,000 in grants irrespective of religious belief the student holds. The Scholarships are only meant for the individuals attending school in the greater Los Angeles and some parts of Orange County & Ventura.
Scholarship is given to those who depict clear goals in their life and determination to achieve them. Applicants are eligible to apply for only two scholarships per cycle. Either you can contact the Women Helping Number at 323.852.8515 or email to

The Scholarships listed below also known as 1st Cycle will require submitting applications from February 1 through May 1. Scholarships will be given in the month of June.
The Singerman / Nosseck Memorial Scholarship – Award $500
Sophie Greenstadt Scholarship for Mid-Life Women – Award $1,000
The June Miller Nursing Education Scholarship – Award $2,000
Inger Lawrence-M.R. Bauer Foundation Nursing Studies Scholarship – Award $2,000
Susan Schulman Begley Memorial Scholarship – Award $2,000
For second cycle of scholarships applications are accepted from August 1 through November 1, and the scholarship will be awarded in December.
The Ellis Scholarship for Childcare – $1,000
The Singerman / Nosseck Memorial Scholarship – Award $500
The June Miller Nursing Education Scholarship – Award $2,000
Inger Lawrence-M.R. Bauer Foundation Nursing Studies Scholarship – Award $2,000
Samuel Schulman Memorial Scholarship – $1,000
The Sol Goldberg Childcare Subsidy – Award $1,000
