The AT & T Foundation in association with UNCF has announced a new scholarship program for African-American children or step children of regular full-time employees of AT & T, Inc and its US subsidiaries. All coming in the above category and are high school seniors or graduates who want to enroll for further studies can apply for the application. Also those college undergraduate and are already enrolled with full time undergraduate course of study in an accredited 2 or 4 years US College or University in the fall of 2010. Scholarship amount for two year’s college is $ 1,500 and for four year’s $ 2,500. Apart from the above mentioned conditions the candidate must be 25 years or younger as of February 16, 2010 and a minimum of GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Marriott Scholars Program 2010 sponsored by The J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation/Marriott International is for those who are interested in making their career in hospitality industry. The program will offer financial support of up to $ 9,000 for four years to those who are found eligible for the same. This scholarship program is not just about helping but it will go ahead by offering guidance through corporate executives and Marriott hotel managers. Those lucky few who will be chosen for scholarship will also be provided with internship opportunities to get the first hand experience of learning.
