Pasty Takemoto Mink Education Foundation For Low Income Women And Children
Pasty Takemoto Mink served US Congress and always believed in women’s rights, the Patsy Takemoto Mink Foundation works in realizing their dreams of providing women of low income group and provide them educational access.
For 2010 the Foundation is supposed to provide five Education Support Awards of Up to $ 2000 each to assist women with children in pursuing their education or training
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be woman of at least 17 yrs of age
- Must be a mother of minor children
- Pursuing education –technical or vocational degree, associate degree, a first bachelor’s degree or a professional, master’s or doctoral degree.
- Must be currently enrolled in skills training ESL or GED program
- Must be belonging to low income group (annual family income less than $ 17,500 for a family of 2, $ 22,000 for 3 & 26,500for a family of 4)
The application form will be made available form April 20, 2010 to July 1, 2010 on the website: http://www.patsyminkfoundation.org/edsupport.html . But the application will not be accepted before May 1, 2010.
