Hemophilia Federation of America works for the betterment of people with bleeding disorders. The Foundation is based in Washington DC and works with other national and state organizations to build a very strong and conducive environment for their all round development. The Hemophilia Federation of America Educational Scholarship is one such effort to support the students with bleeding disorders financially. Every year HFA awards ten scholarships of 1,500 each. There are four scholarships and the candidate can apply for one. Educational Scholarship: Have bleeding disorder. Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university,or trade school. Show commitment towards their goals. The Colburn- Kennan Foundation is a charitable organization that works for individuals and families affected with chronic illness. The work of the foundation does not stops here, it is also involved in supporting those communities, local and national organizations that provides their support and services to individuals and families affected with chronic illness. Colburn-Kennan Foundation offers The Beth Carew Memorial Scholarship program in the honor of Beth Carew and to commemorate for the numerous work she has done selflessly for the people of bleeding disorders. The scholarship program is one of the several efforts of the foundation to support and help students with bleeding disorders.
