Access to Cosmetology Education has been especially devised for those who are attending American Association of Cosmetology Schools and member schools. The Access To Cosmetology Education Scholarship Program has been sponsored by Sports Clips a leading name in Hair Cutting Saloon. Eligibility Requirements: Applicant must be mid way through their training Must have maintained 80% attendance and 80% grade average Demonstrate Financial need There is no limit to the number of applicants from a member school but there will be a limit of one scholarship recipient chosen from an individual school per year for this program. Joe Francis was a well known name in the field of cosmetology with around 1,000hair saloons through out United States. It was Joe Francis’s dream to provide careers options to those individulas who desire to be in cosmetology industry. The foundation is trying to fulfill his dreams by giving financial assistance to deserving students required to attend certified barber or cosmetology school. Candidates who are enrolled or currently applying for full time or part time technical institution (cosmetology or barber school) are eligible for this annual scholarship. Also graduates between January 1,2010 to August 31, 2010 of the current award year can also apply for the scholarship.
