American Association On Health & Disability was founded in order to contribute their efforts to prevent additional health complications in people with disabilities. They are active in all national, state and local level and working out strategies to reduce the effect of secondary conditions and health disparities between people with disabilities and general population. Started in 2009 AAHD Scholarship Program has been designed for the students with disabilities and are willing to pursue higher education in the field of public health, health promotion, disability studies, disability policy and disability research. Eligibility Criteria: Must be a US Citizen or legal resident living in US and enrolled in or accepted by an accredited US four year university or a graduate school on full time basis. Navy Marine Corps Relief Society is a private non-profit charitable organization and its main aim is to serve the members of the National Services of The United States, eligible family members and survivors by providing financial, educational and other assistance. Through its scholarships no-interests loans the organization has helped several students who are in financial need. The Joseph A McLinden Divers Scholarship is a need based scholarship for study or research in ocean agriculture. Eligibility Criteria: Must be certified Navy or Marine Corps diver on active duty or retired An unmarried child of an active duty or retired Navy or Marine Corps diver The spouse of a Navy or Marine Corps diver on active duty or retired Must be full time undergraduate or graduate student in a traditional class room setting at a post-secondary, technical or vocational institution in a program of study in Oceanography, Ocean Agriculture or Aquaculture. The Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund thinks and cares for those thousands of sailors, airmen, marines and Guardsmen who have either got killed or were permanently disabled. The permanent scholarship Trust Fund of Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund provides aid to the children of these brave Americans when they want to pursue their college education. Eligibility Criteria: Must be a son or daughter of a U.S Soldier, Sailor, Airman,  Guardsman or Marine who have been killed in action, who have rendered disable or who have been classified as a prisoner of war (POW) or missing in action (MIA) Currently in their senior year of high school, high school graduate or currently enrolled full time undergraduate student.
