The Veterans Of The Vietnam War Inc is a Veterans benevolent organization foundation which constantly strives to improve the quality of life of veterans and their families. The foundation run several programs to name the few, United Veterans Beacon House for homeless veterans, Military Support Package Project for military serving overseas and several other program. The foundation also provides financial assistance to the kith and kin of The Veterans The Vietnam War Inc.(VVnW) member. The Veterans of the Vietnam War National Scholarship Program has been specially devised the spouse, adopted children, step children, foster and the immediate descendant of the member The Veterans The Vietnam War Inc.(VVnW) Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must be enrolled to a program of any post-secondary education. The scholarship is not a need based scholarship neither it requires you to be a meritorious student or pursuing a particular course of study. Students from any course of study are eligible to apply provided that it is related to post-secondary education. Recipient will receive $ 1,000 as the scholarship amount. The American Legion is a patriotic veteran’s organization, known to be the largest service organization which is ahead in mentoring and sponsoring youth programs. To be more precise it is a non-partisan, not for profit very influential organization and handles issues related to veteran’s rights and quality of life. Through its scholarship program the organization supports U.S Veterans and their children to pursue their education. The Samsung American Legion Scholarship is one of them. It is more of an appreciation for U. S Veterans who rendered their help to Korea during Korean War, a struggle against communist forces. The scholarship is offered by Samsung and will be administered through The American Legion. The scholarship funds for undergraduate study from an accredited U.S College or University Eligibility: Applicant must be direct descendant (child, grandchild, great-grand child or legally adopted child) of a U.S veteran who served during war period.
