Rearing children alone is a real daunting task and challenging too. But there are around 23% single parent families who have to shoulder all the responsibilities. The Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund is a private non-profit corporation run by twenty one board of directors who work towards helping single parents in pursuing their education.

The Single Parent Scholarship is provided to single parents to complete their post-secondary education and prepare for skilled employment.
