Top 10 Scholarships For Art Students



There are numerous interesting scholarships that the art students can go in for. These scholarships are basically administered to help the students pursue a career in arts.

1) Scholastic Art Awards

This is an award administered in recognition of nearly 50,000 regional winners. Scholarships are given for 14 categories including, painting, ceramics, printmaking, etc.

2) NFAA Arts Recognition and Talent Search

ARTS as one of NFAA’s main programs, recognizes amateur artists from several fields like, Jazz, Visual Arts, Music, Photography, etc.

3) Liberty Graphics Art Scholarship

This scholarship is especially beneficial for the local artists. The beneficiaries are chosen through a contest.

4) The WorldStudio Foundation Scholarship

This is an extremely useful scholarship for the students interested in making a career as creative professionals. This requires the applicants to be pursuing a graduate or an undergraduate degree.

5) Evelyn Keedy Memorial Scholarship

Any high school student enrolled in an eligible Art Institute can apply for this scholarship. However, it is important that the applicant must be a full-time student.

6) National Art Honor Society Scholarship

This scholarship is especially useful for the senior members of the National Arts Honor Society. This also requires the applicants to be full-time students.

7) Academy of Motion Pictures Student Academy Awards

Students majoring in film making are eligible for this scholarship. The scholarship is administered to just 3-12 graduate or undergraduate students each year.

8) Donna Reed Performing Arts Scholarship

This is an extremely exclusive scholarship. Only 6 students majoring in performing arts are eligible for this $200 to $1000 scholarship.

9) Academy of Television Arts and Sciences College Television Awards

Almost 25 to graduate and undergraduate students bag this prestigious scholarship each year. For this, the students need to be majoring in performing arts or related areas.

10) National Sculpture Society Scholarship

Students majoring in arts are eligible for this scholarship. At least 1-6 students bag this $1000 scholarship each year.
