The minorities have always been at a disadvantage, especially when it comes to education. However, with all these useful scholarships for the minority students, financial aid is no more a problem.

1) Hispanic College Fund

Hispanic students demonstrating an acute need for financial aid are eligible for this $500 to $5000 scholarship.

2) The Black Student Fund

This important scholarship is awarded in conjunction with the BSF Member Schools. However, this scholarship does not ensure student admission.

3) Hispanic Heritage Foundation Youth Awards

Under this foundation, scholarships are awarded only to high school seniors demonstrating academic excellence.

4) BET Next Level Scholarship

As a joint effort by BET and Sallie Mae, this scholarship is especially to encourage the minority students towards continuing their high school education.

5) Hispanic Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is administered under the National College Scholarship Program. Under this, the students can receive scholarships for nearly $1000 to $5000.

6) Dr. Marie-France Desrosiers Memorial Scholarship

This is a scholarship administered annually to college juniors and seniors of African descend. The most eligible students include those belonging to the Haitian origin.

7) Development Fund For Black Students in Science and Technology

This is an exclusive scholarship to help the black students wanting to pursue a career in the technical fields of study.

8) Minority Geoscience Student Scholarship Program

This scholarship is for the graduate students belonging to the minority classes. This financial aid is extended only for the full time students demonstrating dire financial need.

9) National Hispanic Foundation For The Arts

This scholarship is exclusively to provide financial aid to students, planning to pursue a career in entertainment industry and arts.

10) The National Society of Hispanic MBA’s

This $2000 to $ 5000 worth of scholarship is designed to help the Hispanic students pursuing a masters degree in business management and administration.

11) The United Negro College Fund

This special scholarship is only for the students attending one of UNCF’s member college or university. This scholarship can also be renewed under special conditions.

12) The National Educational Clearinghouse

Besides providing financial aid to the Hispanic students, one of the main features of this scholarship program is the Free Personal Scholarship Search.

13) Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship

This particular scholarship is for the graduate and undergraduate students. This $3,500 worth scholarship is for the students interested in public administration, finance, economics, etc.

14) Microsoft National Minority Technical Scholarship

This scholarship requires the students to fulfill certain important criteria. The students should necessarily be either Hispanic, African American or Native American.

15) Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia

Under this program, two or more scholarships are awarded in favor of the students pursuing an education in law.
