The Walter J. Travis Society Inc was formed to pay tribute for his achievements and contribution. It is a non-profit organization that apart from their other missions it also provides financial aid to the aspiring golfers.

Along with the application you need to submit a letter from your college/University that you are or will be a full time matriculated student. The scholarship amount is $ 750 each and to achieve this opportunity you need to complete the application and postmarked it no later than June 1, 2010.
