Blackpool and The Fylde College is a university college linked to the University of Lancaster. It has 49 buildings spread over the towns of Blackpool, St Annes, Bispham and three locations in Fleetwood. The college brands itself an "associate college of Lancaster University".
The College offers further education courses for the over-16s, degree courses, and also part time courses. The sites in Fleetwood form a specialised Nautical campus, which teaches MCA-accredited courses for merchant seafarers and offshore workers. The maritime courses are taught in association with Liverpool John Moores University, rather than Lancaster.
Blackpool and The Fylde College is located on the Fylde Coast in the North West of England. It has four major campuses, the largest of which is at Bispham, situated between Blackpool and Fleetwood. Fleetwood itself is home to our Nautical Campus, one of just four such establishments in the country. Our University Centre is spread over two sites, Palatine and Park Road, conveniently located just a short distance from each other and the town centre. Blackpool also has a smaller College site at Seasiders Way. A further campus is based in the south of the region at Ansdell.
