Free Scholarship Information- Law Students

There is a wide variety of education scholarships available for the law students. Most of these scholarships are funded by the different law firms, bar associations, private firms and many more. However, all of these scholarships are available exclusively for the law students only even if others qualify for them.

  1. Alia Herrera Memorial ATLA Auxiliary Scholarship: This scholarship is available for the law students entering their second or third year of law school. The eligible applicants are the law students who are either attending law schools in Boston, are student members of law school or are children of ATLA members. The amount for the scholarship is $3,000.

  2. Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) Trial Advocacy Scholarship: All the second and third-year ATLA Law Student Members can qualify for this scholarship. A basic prerequisite for this $2,500 scholarship is that the applicants must demonstrate a desire to represent victims, proficiency in trial advocacy and mostly an accute financial need.

  3. Attorney-CPA Foundation: This scholarship caters to only a selected number of law students who have completed their second year and show a commitment to the accounting profession. Though there are no specific prerequisites for this scholarship, the students definitely need to demonstrate a good academic record. This scholarship is essentially for one year only.

  4. Federal Circuit Bar Association: One of the biggest sponsors of law scholarships is the Federal Circuit Bar Association, which awards upto $10,000 scholarships to students demonstrating financial distress and a good academic record.  The basic necessity while applying for this scholarship is that, the applicants must submit a written application stating their financial need along with the applicant's college and law school transcripts. The scholarship amount is about $10,000 and it requires that the applicants be nominated by their law school for the awards.
