Heidelberg University, located in Tiffin, Ohio is a vibrant learning community of actively engaged students and faculty. Established in 1850 by the German Reformed Church (now United Church of Christ), the University embraces the spirit of free inquiry championed by its religious affiliation. Our more than 1,200 traditional undergraduates from all over the country, as well as more than 200 graduate students, go on to lead lives of purpose with distinction. Heidelberg will be a welcoming, student-centered university where in-class and out-of-class learning is seamless and continuous. Both the undergraduate and graduate curriculums will effectively integrate liberal arts and professional preparation across disciplines to prepare our students to be global citizens who communicate effectively, think critically and serve thoughtfully.
