Aviation Australia skills and trains domestic and international students for employment in the aviation industry worldwide. This is particularly important for Queensland where there are more than 900 aviation and aerospace companies contributing around $6 billion to the Queensland economy each year and employing more than 16,500 Queenslanders. Aviation Australia supports these companies and others within Australia and overseas by offering basic and advanced training for aircraft maintenance engineers and flight attendants. Over 85% of Aviation Australia’s graduates are employed in the aviation industry. In the last ten years, Aviation Australia has trained or supported the training of over 30,000 aviation personnel for more than 150 customers, both civil and military worldwide. Aviation Australia is the largest initial maintenance engineering and flight attendant training provider in the Southern Hemisphere.
Aviation Australia is the only training organisation in Australia that provides students with engineering qualifications recognised by both the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) (EASA credits are transferable internationally). Our training programs comprehensively cover every subject required under the CASA CASR Part 66 and EASA Part 66 basic requirements.
