For initial certification, applicant must pass an initial ACF certification class with a “C” grade or better. For continuing education, applicant must be certified by the American Culinary Federation as a Certified Chef de Cuisine or higher, be enrolled in a state-accredited educational institution for the purpose of enhancing culinary skills or knowledge which will assist the applicant in his/ her career, and be an active member of the American Culinary Federation in good standing for 3 or more consecutive years.
