    Send application that has been signed by a teacher at the applicant’s high school; a 500-word essay (on “Ground Water: An Important Environ-mental and Economic Resource for America”) and a 300-word description of the applicant’s high school ground water project and/or practical work experience; and 2 letters of recommendation. Also, documentary evidence of scholastic achievements and references will be requested in mid-June from finalists.
