| Eligibility Criteria |
Must be enrolled in either the Afternoon Jazz Ensemble or the Vocal Jazz Ensemble for credit. Amount of award is determined by amount in scholarship fund at time of the award. Two awards maximum. Students are evaluated on musicianship, leadership and attitude in the ensemble setting. Recommendations for the scholarship are made by the Jazz Ensemble directors with the approval of the Music Department Chairperson and Music Department faculty. The awards are usually announced at Spring Jazz Night. |
