This scholarships is awarded to all staff members working 20 hours or more and the dependents of full-time staff are
eligible to receive a staff member scholarship for 2 classes excluding on-line courses.
This includes an unmarried child, adopted child, or stepchild, provided they are claimed
as dependents for income tax purposes. |

| Eligibility Criteria |
Scholarships are not granted automatically. The staff member must request the
scholarship in writing and the Scholarship Committee must approve it. Apply for Federal Financial Aid through the Financial Aid Office at BHBC. If
staff member/dependent is approved for a Federal Grant, the amount received
will be applied toward this scholarship. If not approved for a Federal Grant, they
are still eligible for the scholarship. |
