Academic Criteria for selection is left to the discretion of the appropriate University officials. The need for financial assistance is also left to the judgment of the appropriate University officials, and shall not be limited to the guidelines set under Federal or State of Hawai’i financial aid programs. |

Preference in selection of recipients will be given to the following:- Children of Merrill Lynch Honolulu office employees who are considered support staff. Specifically excluded are the children of Merrill Lynch employees who are in management positions, who are financial consultants, investment advisors, brokers or employees who perform similar duties;
? Children of parents residing in Makakilo and other communities of the Waianae Coast, including but not limited to Waianae, Lualualei and Nanakuli. |
