This prize honors Mrs. Rose, an alumna of Hillsdale College, a member of the college Board of Trustees and of its Board of Women Commissioners, and a free-lance writer of prose and epigrammatic poetry for syndicated newspapers. It recognizes excellence in narration (personal essay, short story). (Juniors with career plans in writing, media work, or public relations are encouraged to apply.) |
