Top candidates typically lead their high school peers academically based upon class rank/GPA and often score in the top three percent nationally on the ACT or SAT. Recipients become members of the Pershing Society, which promotes intellectual and social enrichment. Each scholar is assigned a faculty/staff mentor, in addition to his/her advisor, providing the student with further guidance in his/her academic and social growth. |
