    Applicants must be of Hawaiian ancestry and be residents of the state of Hawaii; be a junior or senior undergraduate or graduate student majoring in education (or a graduate student attending law school); attend full time an accredited 4-year college or university; and demonstrate financial need, good moral character, and academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 2.7. Applicants returning to school to obtain a degree or certification in education also qualify.
