    May apply only after beginning classes on full-time basis. Full tuition scholarships awarded for 1 academic year to women, minorities (African Americans, Hispanics, or Native Americans), and people with disabilities enrolled full time in the above fields, or related technical discipline with a demonstrated interest in computer science, and making satisfactory progress towards a degree. Awards are made through designated schools and are not transferable to other institutions. Students must be enrolled full time in a bachelor’s degree program at a college or university in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico at the time the application is submitted and be making satisfactory progress toward an undergraduate degree in computer science or computer engineering. All recipients of scholarships will be required to complete a salaried summer internship of 12 weeks or more at Microsoft in Redmond, WA (unless waived by Microsoft).
