| Eligibility Criteria |
A current resident of New Mexico Congressional District 3, with the exception of Quay, Curry, and Roosevelt Counties; or a New Mexico Tribal Member from any county in the state; A graduating high school senior within the last 24 months (exceptions to this requirement may be granted at the discretion of the University); A cumulative high school GPA of 3.2 minimum, or college GPA of 3.2, or documentation of home-schooled equivalency;SAT score of 1100 minimum (or 24 ACT); and Eligible for federal Pell grants having an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) comparable to that of a Pell-eligible undergraduate student. Financial need and merit will be considered in the awarding of this scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded to those students who show the lowest EFC – as determined on the federal financial aid forms. |
