    Open to members, who are working under a strength and conditioning coach in the school’s athletic department as a student assistant or volunteer or graduate student, and pursuing undergraduate or graduate study. Also considered are grades/ GPA, courses completed, overall academic achievement, strength and conditioning experience, NSCA involvement (must be an NSCA member for at least 1 year prior to application deadline; high school students may sign up for membership at time of application), essay (clarity, expression, goals, lucidity, grammar, and articulateness), and recommendations.

    Contact NSCA for an application or membership information. Application must be submitted by the head strength and conditioning coach from the applicant’s school (1 candidate/school). With application include current résumé, school transcript from each school attended or attending; letter of recommendation from head strength coach; and 500-word essay describing course of study, career goals, and financial need.
