The Natural Gas Society of East Texas Scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate student who has delcared his major in the energy industry field. Recipient must be at least a sophomore at the time of application and a junior the following semester. The recipient also must have declared his or her major to be in a field of study which directly relates to the energy industry at the undergraduate level. |

| Eligibility Criteria |
Recipient must have achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale) in his or her undergraduate program. Financial need is a secondary consideration for applicants, not a primary consideration. Students who wish to have their financial need considered by the committee should submit a completed Federal Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA). |
