Open to patients seeking to initiate or complete a course of study that has been interrupted or delayed by a diagnosis of cancer or other critical or life-threatening disease (must obtain written documentation from physician). A primary consideration is that the recipients pursue a course of study that makes them immediately employable after graduation. May be used for a 2- or 4-year degree or advanced studies. Must maintain an overall 3.0 GPA; be a fulltime student; agree to complete 20 hours/ year of community service while receiving scholarship.

Submit application with last year’s tax returns demonstrating financial need; high school and/or current college transcript; at least 2 letters of recommendation from nonrelated persons.
