This scholarship Fund was established in the memory of Ruth Garten White, MD, past president of California State Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Dr. White served on the executive board of the International Chapter until ill health forced her resignation. After her death in 1957, a trust was set up as a living memorial to her service and devotion to P.E.O. and to promote educational opportunities for women. |
