| Eligibility Criteria |
Applicant are incoming freshman student planning to pursue a degree in kinesiology at UCM. Student must be an incoming freshman student and have been accepted to the University of Central Missouri, be (or will be) a graduate of a high school located in Independence, MO and/or the Jackson County, MO area, rank in the upper one-third of high school graduating class, plan to pursue a degree in kinesiology (programs include: athletic training, corporate fitness, exercise science, physical education – teaching, recreation, tourism), demonstrate financial need. Scholarship funds shall be divided between the fall and spring semesters. Recipient(s) must maintain a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 in order for the second installment to be applied to the student’s account for the spring semester. |
