Eligibility Criteria :Open to students enrolled in a college or university and studying for an academic degree. Entries must have been published or broadcast during calendar year in which the award is presented, and entrant must have been a student at the time of publication or broadcast. Work published, broadcast or produced while working as a student intern is acceptable. Unpublished manuscripts, classroom exercises, and unaired news broadcasts do not qualify. Entries are judged on the regional level. First-place winning entries will go on to the national competition.
