  • Eligibility Criteria :
    Must be of Swiss descent by demonstrating that at least 1 parent is (or you are) a Swiss citizen, registered with the Swiss Consulate of San Francisco (or carrying a valid Swiss passport); have lived within a 150-mile radius of the San Francisco City Hall for a minimum of 3 years; show a cumulative GPA of not less than 3.2 for the last 2 years in high school or not less than 2.75 for the first year in college and 3.0 thereafter for a minimum of either 12 undergraduate or 8 graduate units per term; applied for admission to any accredited institution of higher learning in the U.S. offering a baccalaureate degree or—in exceptional cases—to a junior college in California; and demonstrate financial need. Awards will be granted based on the criteria of outstanding prior academic achievement, promise of future academic excellence, and anticipated successful completion of studies. Students may apply during the 2nd year of college or any time thereafter.
