| Eligibility Criteria |
Applicants are to be full-time, in-state students at USC Upstate in the fall semester of the Junior year with a grade point average of 3.0,Applicants are to have matriculated as full-time students at USC Upstate through the Freshman or Sophomore years with plans to complete the Junior and Senior years as full-time students, graduating in four years, Applicants may major in any discipline, but must have selected a major by the time of application and demonstrated a capacity for success in their field of study, Applicants may or may not have foreign language proficiency. (In fact, at least some travel is encouraged in countries where award recipients have little or no language ability).
