Applicant must be U.S. citizen; permanent resident of Southern California (Bakersfield is considered the northernmost boundary); have demonstrated academic strength, leadership ability, and community involvement; be a full-time status (12-18 units/semester for undergraduates; 6-12 units/semester for graduate students), and not be receiving tuition remission or tuition exchange. Additional requirements: incoming freshmen average SAT and ACT scores are in the top 2-3% of all students nationwide. Average GPA is 3.9. In addition to academic criteria, community involvement and leadership; incoming transfer students must demonstrate academic strength (cumulative GPA of at least 3.6), leadership ability, and community involvement; and current USC students applying for the first time minimum 3.0 GPA.

Submit applications along with a personal statement of 500 words or less explaining how your USC legacy has contributed to your interest in becoming part of the Trojan Family (incoming freshman/transfer students) or explaining how your USC legacy has contributed to your involvement as a USC student (current USC students). Finalists will be called for a personal interview.
