This Scholarship is given to the family of Winn and Elaine Newman establishes this scholarship. Winn Newman was a labor lawyer and civil rights activist, specializing in race and sex discrimination. Elaine Newman is an activist in women, civil rights and labor issues. Each year two awards will be given to deserving students in the amounts of $250 to $500. |
