The University of Adelaide's English Language Centre (ELC) offers a range of General and Academic English language programs, cultural programs and English teacher training services (TESOL) for international students and visiting groups. The ELC provides students with the opportunity to study and learn English at one of the top universities in Australia.

The English Language Centre provides:
Academic English Pathways
for students that have not met the minimum English language entry requirements of their University of Adelaide award program. We offer two packaged Academic English Pathways; Academic English - PEP Pathway and Academic English - GEAP Pathway.
General English for Academic Purposes (GEAP)
for students seeking the experience of studying English in the academic environment of a leading Australian University. Certificate IV in TESOL
for individuals or groups interested in gaining certification in teaching English as a Second Language. English for Professionals for individuals from non-English speaking backgrounds who want a successful professional career in Australia.
Group Study Tour Programs
for institutions or organisations interested in sending groups of students for an Australian cultural and educational experience.
