The Workers' Educational Association of South Australia Incorporated, founded in 1913, is Australia's largest non-government adult community education organisation. The WEA provides learning opportunities for anyone aged 15 years or older. There are generally no pre-requisites for courses and no assessment or exams. The WEA offers courses on a variety of levels across a diverse range of subjects, from computing to Yoga! The WEA caters for a broad cross-section of the community, providing adults with learning opportunities for both vocational and personal advantage. The WEA publishes five Course Guides each year in late January, early April, late June, mid September and late November. All course details appear on this website, which is updated frequently.
The WEA computing courses are among its most popular. We offer a variety of courses covering computing and Internet fundamentals and business applications on a range of different skill levels. So, if you're a complete novice wanting to learn what all the fuss is about or an experienced user wanting to pick up extra skills in a particular package, the WEA is a great place to learn.
