The College of St. Joseph is located in Rutland, Vermont in the heart of the Green Mountains. Its campus is comprised of 117 acres of open and wooded land. Although it sits on the edge of the city’s limits, it is a comfortable one-mile walk to Rutland’s downtown. The college was founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1956 as a Catholic college with a distinctive mission. It now offers over 30 career-oriented programs leading to associate, bachelor, and master degrees in the fields of Arts & Sciences, Business, Criminal Justice, Education, and Psychology & Human Services. The college has developed a reputation for its student-centered culture and the family-like environment on campus.
